Yesterday morning Forbes announced the first class of 250 entrepreneurs selected for the Next 1000 featuring co-founder, Sheila Dunne.

The Next 1000 is a year-round initiative that showcases ambitious sole proprietors, self-funded shops, and pre-revenue startups who are redefining what it means to build and run a business today, especially in the “new normal.” These businesses are proof-positive that American entrepreneurship remains resilient and ever-changing. While venture-backed startups generally skew white, male and coastal, these Main Street companies actually look like—and drive—America.

Forbes requested nominations from every industry across the US, with the mission to showcase “1,000 new faces with a running start to one day land on the cover of Forbes.”

Honorees of "The Next 1000" have been evaluated by a panel of top business minds and entrepreneurial superstars including Reid Hoffman, Sheryl Sandberg, Aileen Lee, Alex Rodriguez, Ciara, Lilly Singh, Mellody Hobson, Russell Wilson, Carla Harris, and Jean Case.

We are humbled and honored to be recognized alongside such inspiring innovators and small business leaders.

The entire team is deeply grateful for this opportunity and incredibly excited for the future of Dunne Goodwin.

These entrepreneurs are bound together by a relentless drive to turn their ideas into reality.
